DIRECT ACCESS

Each aged care facility will have access to a direct number for a pharmacist 24 hours a day 7 days a week. 

This is to ensure that nurses have direct access to a pharmacist at any time for professional advise and/or request of urgent medications.

The pharmacist is available at all times to assist nurses with any concenrs or questions they may have relating to medications or the supply of medications.
